Glee fans who are rooting for Rachel's (Lea Michele) success on Broadway may be disappointed by a development in an upcoming episode.

A new spoiler report by E!Online reveals that the audience will be meet a character in episode 9, titled Frenemies, who is auditioning for a Broadway show. The audition will be a particularly bad one for the character.

Rachel is currently the lead in Funny Girl and may see her dreams dashed if another actress/singer is auditioning for the role. The specific Broadway show the character is auditioning for is not yet known.

However, if Rachel is losing her role as the lead, it would correlate with why Santana (Naya Rivera) is singing Don't Rain on My Parade from Funny Girl in the episode, as previously reported by Enstars. It also explains why the episode is titled Frenemies, as Santana could turn from a friend to an enemy to Rachel.

Going along with this potential storyline, it's also possible that Rachel ultimately forgives Santana, as they will be doing a duet on the song Brave by Sara Bareilles. The song's uplifting lyrics suggest that Rachel could be telling Santana to be brave through the audition process and Santana could be encouraging Rachel to press onward with her dreams.

The Frenemies episode of Glee will presumably air in either December or early January assuming the series continues forward with all new episodes.
