The witches on American Horror Story: Coven might be doing something horrible to Fiona (Jessica Lange) in the next episode.

American Horror Story co-creator Ryan Murphy spoke with Entertainment Weekly about what viewers can expect from the next episode of the horror anthology series.

"It's called The Sacred Taking. It's a tradition that dates back to the Salem days. Sometimes to protect other witches, a witch is allowed to create a sacred act, which is taking her own life," Murphy explained. "It is about that idea and the question is you know Fiona's not going to go there on her own accord so the other witches try and get to her a place of trying to do that."

Fiona has caused a lot of trouble for the coven since swooping in. The Supreme witch killed Madison (Emma Roberts) out of fear that she was the next Supreme, burned her rival Myrtle (Frances Conroy) at the stake and reignited a war between the Salem witches and voodoo queen Marie Laveau (Angela Bassett). It is only natural that the other witches will try to eliminate Fiona before she causes any more problems.

Additionally, Murphy spoiled the fate of Madame LaLaurie (Kathy Bates). He said that looking on the cover of the latest Entertainment Weekly magazine depicts what happens to LaLaurie. In the cover photo, Marie Laveau is seen holding a platter with LaLaurie's decapitated head on it. LaLaurie will get her head chopped off in episode 9, appropriately titled Head.

American Horror Story: Coven airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on FX.
