Beyonce's former Destiny Child bandmate Latvia Roberson will appear in the upcoming season 3 of R & B Divas.

Roberson officially signed on to star alongside KeKe Wyatt, Monifah, Syleena Johnson and Angie Stone, according to  TheYBF.com.

Roberson was an original member of the Destiny's Child when it had four members and was founded by Beyonce's father, Matthew Knowles. After the chart-topping girl group had success with their second album with the singles Bills, Bills, Bills, Say My Name and more, Roberson and Letoya Luckett sought outside management. Knowles managed the group at the time and the pair complained of favoritism. They were ultimately replaced in February 2000 when it was time to film the music video for Say My Name.

After a series of interviews where they called out Knowles and filed a lawsuit, the new Destiny's Child group, which featured three members--Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, released a single and the album Survivor in 2001, referencing the business beef in the process.

Roberson and Luckett reportedly sued Destiny's Child again for slander. The pair settled for an undisclosed amount in 2002 and made several failed attempts to come out on their own, never releasing an album in a new girl group. Luckett willl appear in theupcoming season of VH1s original scripted series, Single Ladies, when it premieres in January, 2014.

Meelah Williams, a member of 702, a trio created by 80's New Edition's Michael Bivins, has also been added to the cast. Her ex-boyfriend, Musiq Soulchild, and the father of her child, is also expected to appear in some episodes.  However, it wasn't announced whether Faith Evans and Nicci Gilbert will be returning. Evans was one of P. Diddy's hit Bad Boy recording artists in the 1990s. Gilbert helped create the show with Evans, however, she confirmed her exit from R& B Divas in a recent interview.

"I just realized that it really wasn't a good look for me as a 43-year-old woman with a daughter that I'm trying to raise," Gilbert told MadameNoir.com. "I actually wasn't going to come back for season two because there were things that occurred that I wasn't happy about."
