Floyd Mayweather opened up about dating and his alleged domestic violence claims in a recent interview.

The boxing champion shared his feelings when he attended the 25th anniversary celebration of Sister 2 Sister in Las Vegas earlier this month. He defended his lavish spending on his many girlfriends over the years.

"I feel like a woman is a reflection of a man, so I feel like any woman that is standing next to me, if I look like new money, she should shine like new money," he explained on the red carpet in the video interview below.

Mayweather appears on the cover of the December 2013 issue of Sister 2 Sister. In the magazine interview he also defended previous reports that he physically assaulted his ex-girlfriend Josie Harris. In September 2010, Harris called police claiming Mayweather assaulted her after he discovered she was dating someone else following their split. He served 90 days in jail in January 2012 for the charges he faced for domestic violence.

When asked if the reports and the assault charges were accurate, Harris he said he was found guilty without any evidence.

Floyd Mayweather Cheating On Fiance Shantel Jackson With 'Single Ladies' Actress Lisa Raye?

"Okay, I just want to say, what I do for a living, I'm in a contact sport, right? And if they say someone had bodily harm done to 'em, since I'm already a fighter, before even giving me a chance, they're going to say. 'He's guilty,'" Mayweather told Sister 2 Sister. "Now, restraining a woman that's on drugs and alcohol, have I ever done that? Yes, from going crazy."

The boxer referenced several high profie celebrities who have also been charged for domestic violence, including Chris Brown's 2009 incident with Rihanna.

"We've yet to have proof. Of course if Floyd Mayweather has brutally beaten a woman, you're going to show pictures," he said. "And like I always say, no disrespect to the Simpson family, but you've seen OJ and Nicole. No disrespect to Chris Brown and Rihanna, but you've seen Rihanna. But you've yet to see pictures of Floyd Mayweather and a battered woman. And the thing is, if I'm beating all these women, why do so many women find me interesting and want to be within my circle?"
