Thanksgiving is a time for family and Sleepy Hollow's Ichabod Crane is feeling a little left out.

Revolutionary soldier won't have too long to brood, however. A case involving a colonial-era house may make Crane (Tim Mison) feel a bit more at home this holiday, or it would if it wasn't seemingly haunted.

While Mills (Nicole Beharie) and Crane investigate the disappearance of a socialite during "Sanctuary," they will accidently disturb a new evil and uncover a few snippets from Ichabod's past. In the meantime, viewers will be introduced to two people from Captain Irving's (Orlando Jones) private life.

It appears Irving's ex-wife, Cynthia (Jill Marie Jones), will be coming back into the picture with their teenage daughter Mae (Amandla Stenberg), according to The Hollywood Reporter. Apparently, Cynthia is worried about the wellbeing of Irving's relationship with their young offspring, particularly since he took up his post in Sleepy Hollow, according to E!.

As for the monster of the week, TV Line claims "Sanctuary" writers will be rolling out the Golem. From Jewish tradition, the Golem is typically made of inanimate material, such as clay, and serves a master.
