Taylor Swift won the coveted Artist of the Year award at the 2013 American Music Awards on Sunday, Nov. 24.

Swift now has a total of 14 American Music Awards. In her acceptance speech she thanked fans for voting for her and "being on the same page" as her when it comes to makeups, breakups and all other themes she writes about. The award was presented by Pitbull, who also hosted and performed at the AMAs on Sunday.

The We Are Ever Never Getting Back Together singer was a big winner at the AMAs, taking home the four honors, including Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist, Favorite Country Female Artist and Favorite Country Album. Justin Timberlake was close in second place with three wins.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis led the list of AMA nominees with six nods, while Taylor Swift and Timberlake followed with five nods apiece. Florida Georgia Line, Rihanna and Robin Thicke received four; Bruno Mars and Imagine Dragons both scored three. 

Among the night's performers were Florida Georgia Line featuring Nelly, Lady Gaga featuring R. Kelly, Ke$ha featuring Pitbull, Imagine Dragons, Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, One Direction, Justin Timberlake and TLC with special guest Lil Mama.
