The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is heating up ticket sales around the world but actor Josh Hutcherson hasn't had a chance to really take in the film's success.

Hutcherson, who portrays Suzanne Collins' Peeta Mellark in the movie adaptation of her popular books, stopped by The Late Show With David Letterman on Monday to talk Catching Fire and working with Jennifer Lawrence.

After weeks of juggling press, premieres, Saturday Night Live, and filming for the Hunger Games third and fourth installments, the 21-year-old actor admitted to getting a little confused during recent interviews.

"Were shooting three and four together right now for like eight months or 10 months," Hutcherson explained. "Were shooting them together but still sort of separate...when I'm doing press, actually I have been talking about the wrong movie a couple of times."

Meanwhile, Hutcherson gets to work with the high-energy, Academy Award-winning Lawrence, who plays Katniss Everdeen.

"We're like two puppy dogs that just kind of circle each other and act crazy all day while people are trying to do work around us. They're constantly having to [say], 'Can you guys stop for one minute, please, so we can make a movie?'"

Watch Hutcherson and Lawrence star alongside Liam Hemsworth in The Hunger Game: Catching Fire in theaters now.
