Ben Affleck is beefing up for his new role as Batman in the highly anticipated Man of Steel 2.

Affleck is allegedly training two hours a day to prepare for the role of Batman, and the results are certainly showing. E!Online posted a new photo of Affleck looking bigger than ever, which can be viewed here.

Affleck is getting so big that it's starting to have an impact on his other roles. Affleck is starring as the lead in Gone Girl, but the costume designer for the film is trying to control his size to fit the part.

"I'm trying to keep him at the size he's at right now until he's done with us," said Gone Girl costume designer Trish Summerville. "I'm sure he's working out but I think for him, he's probably a guy that builds up really quickly so I just kind of asked him if he can stay where he's at right now. He's a really big guy, like he's quite tall. You don't realize how big he is. He kind of reads smaller on film than he does in real life."

Affleck's personal trainer tweeted about his improvements, noting that they may have to hold off for a while.

"Ben Affleck's Batman body: getting too pumped up for current role! Good prob to have-We'll cut back a lil! Lol," he tweeted.

In the film, Affleck's Batman faces off against an equally buff Henry Cavill as Superman.

Man of Steel 2 a.k.a. Batman vs. Superman, is scheduled for release in theaters on July 17, 2015.
