A new TV spot for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, shining a light on Tauriel (Evangeline Lilly), Legolas (Orlando Bloom) and Gandalf (Ian McKellen), was revealed on Nov. 26.

The clip  rushed through various action sequences with glimpses of other characters as well, and is interspersed with dialogue from the three.

"You like killing things, you like death," says Tauriel, seemingly to an antagonistic character. She adds, "Then let me give it to you," seething with vengeance as she slays an enemy with her sword.

"The enemy is preparing for war," Gandalf is heard saying as men in armour are seen charging forward.

In another bit it seems like Legolas and Tauriel seem to be urging against war. She says, "With every victory this evil will grow,."

"It is not our fight," Legolas is seen telling Tauriel in another. However, she responses, "It is our fight."

The film also features Beorn (Mikael Persbrandt), who can shift between the form of a man and bear.
