Footage featuring Han's funeral from the upcoming Fast and Furious 7 will be featured on the blu-ray DVD for Fast and Furious 6, which will release on Dec. 10.

Fans have so far only gotten glimpses from the set of the new film through photos posted by the cast and crew.

Movies.com got access to a pre-release copy of the DVD and said the clip suggests that the "stakes will be raised big time" in the seventh Fast and Furious installment.

The scene features the cast regulars mourning Han's death at his funeral, according to the website. The big reveal is that Hobb's (Dwyane Johnson) is also battling death in a hospital. Johnson has been tweeting images from the set showing his character in the thick of it, with action sequences fraught with danger. After watching the scene, Movies.com speculates that something will happen to him early on in the film.

Here is the website's entire description of the scene where the gang is at Han's funeral:

"If you were hoping that his death at the end of Fast & Furious 6 (which, in a surprise twist, was actually from Tokyo Drift) was a misdirect, it looks like you're out of luck. He's dead for real, and it's hit the gang hard. There aren't any tears shed.. but Vin Diesel does croak out 'You were always my brother, Han. He put you in this grave, so now I'll do the same to him.' "

Han's death was first revealed in the new clip when Ludacris said, '"First Han, now Hobbs is laid up, of all people." At some point between FF6 and FF7, something happened to Hobbs to put him in the hospital.

Fast and Furious 7 will take off from where Fast and Furious 6 left off. Wan took over the director's role from Justin Lin, who announced earlier in the year that he will step away from directing the franchise.

The cast for the seventh installment reprising their roles include Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson, Paul Walker, Ludacris and Jordana Brewster. UFC Womens Bantam weight champion Ronda Rousey and ONG Bak star Tony Jaa will also star in the film.

Fast and Furious 7 hits theaters in July 2014.
