Fred Meyer: Free doughnuts and coffee from 5 a.m. to noon, so even if you're not first in line you can still score this freebie. 

GameStop: Get a free $25 gift card and free backpack when you buy the Wii U Skylanders SWAP Force Bundle for $300. Also, get a free LEGO toy set or free LEGO keychain when you buy a LEGO game.

Gander Mountain: A free $20 gift card when you spend $100 or more on select brands. 

Half Price Books: A free $5 gift card to the first 100 customers. They will also get a free tote bag at each store when it opens at 7 a.m. 

JCPenny: A free JCPenney 2013 Snow Globe.

Macy's: Get a free Lil' Wayne compilation album when you spend $50 or more. 

PetSmart: For the first 100 shoppers, retail stores are giving away free pet stockings pre-stuffed with dog and cat treats and $130 worth of in-store coupons.

Seattle's Best Coffee: Simply "like" the company's Facebook page, fill out a form for a free sample of their medium roast coffee.

Shoe Carnival: A free gift card worth $10 to the first 100 customers, a holiday surprise reward card and one lucky shopper might score a free $100 gift card.

Staples: A ream of Staples 8.5x11" multipurpose paper and a pack of Staples Photo Supreme 8.5x11" double-sided matte paper. There's a limit of two of each item per customer, and they're each free after mail-in rebate. 

Toys "R" Us: A free jersey when you buy select Nerf Dart Tag items.

Walmart: A free $100 gift card when you purchase select smartphones.
