Jennifer Lawrence does not have what it takes to be labeled "America's Sweetheart" because she is too cool for the honor, according to reigning title-holder Julia Roberts.

The August: Osage County actress reflected on the possibility of inducting Lawrence, 23, into the group of favored actresses, which includes Marilyn Monroe, Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock and Meg Ryan. Roberts, who ironically enough starred in the 2001 film America's Sweethearts, said the title is below Lawrence.

"She shoots flaming arrows," the 46-year-old joked of the Silver Linings Playbook star in an interview with MTV. "Is this a new cupid tactic? I think she's fabulous, but she seems cooler than me."

The Erin Brockovich star, who moved from the light-hearted Pretty Woman to heavy-hitting dramatic films later in her career, has many times over been called "America's Sweetheart."

"My card is expired, and I didn't get a new one," Roberts said of being in the "Sweathearts" club.

In August: Osage County the actress plays Barbara Weston, a grown woman and eldest daughter of Violet Weston (Streep), who returns home when she receives news that her father (Sam Shepard) has gone missing. The poster for the movie, which depicts the entire extended Weston family in a knock-down drag-out fight, shows that the reunion is not peaceful.

Jennifer Lawrence stars in David O. Russell's new film American Hustle alongside Amy Adams, Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Renner and Jennifer. The movie is based on a real-life corruption scandal during the Seventies that included conmen, the FBI and the Mafia.
