Denise Richards has officially been tossed into Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller's messy and high profile custody battle.

She's now being accused of abusing the 4-year-old twin boys, Max and Bob, that actress Brooke Mueller has with Anger Management star Charlie Sheen.

Max and Bob reportedly claimed that one of Richards' staff members hit them while she was taking care of them.

Mueller reportedly told authorities the claims and they showed up to Richards' home Tuesday night and spoke to her about the allegations. While she didn't let them inside because the daughters that she has with Sheen were there, she said the claims were "vindictive" and "ridiculous." She also told police that she hasn't seen the twins for two weeks and Mueller hasn't seen Richards' daughters either.

The twins and Richard's daughters will also have to be questioned.

A source told Radar Online, "There is NO evidence that Denise has ever physically or emotionally abused ANY of her children."

They went on to say that Richards is considering taking action against Mueller for her claims by filing a false police report or going as far as a civil action.

Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services is also looking further into Mueller's claim.

Richards was the twins' full-time guardian since May of last year until recently after Mueller was in the hospital for a drug relapse. Denise decided not to be the boys' caregiver claiming they were violent and even possibly a danger to her daughters.
