A&E recently released a new trailer for Bates Motel season 2 ahead of its 2014 premiere.

The trailer does not give anything away other than the previously known fact that it will premiere in 2014. The promo features the lights to the Bates Motel sign turning on with a "Re-Opening 2014" sign under it.

A&E previously released a trailer for Bates Motel featuring Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore) working on his taxidermy and creating a model of the motel out of various animal parts.

Entertainment Weekly recently published a promotional photo of the season 2 premiere of Bates Motel. In the photo, Norman, Norma (Vera Farmiga) and Dylan (Max Thieriot) attend the funeral of Miss Watson, Norman's teacher who died in the season 1 finale. Highmore discussed the moment in relation to Norman with Zap2It in September.

"At that moment with Miss Watson it's not immediately obvious which conclusion to draw," Highmore explained. "This show is infinitely more exciting for that, especially when your main characters are so ambiguous, you find yourself almost rooting for Norman despite the fact you know he's going to become this infamous serial killer."

The Entertainment Weekly photo also features a caption that reveals the return of Bates Motel to occur in March 2014. Assuming this is true, fans only have to wait a few more months to return to the mysterious town of White Pine Bay.

Bates Motel season 2 is set to premiere in Mar. 2014 on A&E, though a specific date has not yet been scheduled by the network.
