Cyber Week 2013 Deals: Tuesday Steals at Target and Other Retailers, Preview of Week-Long Online Only Sales [VIDEO]
While the traditional start to the holiday shopping season usually consists strictly of Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday, several retailers have taken to extending their deals throughout what is now being called 'Cyber Week.'
Instead of cutting deals off at the end of Cyber Monday and returning items to normal price, retailers are instead keeping their deals available for several days afterwards, with some reaching an entire week of potential savings.
The biggest retailer to unveil a Cyber Week of deals is Target, which announced that it would offer several different daily doorbusters every day. When shoppers log onto the company's website, they are greeted with a countdown clock that lets them know just how long they have until the day's deals are over, allowing the next ones to start.
The 'Cyber Tuesday' doorbusters the retailer is offering include: a PlayStation 3 12GB Console with All-Stars Battle Royale and Extra Dualshock 3 Wireless Controller for $250.00 (a $25 discount); Buy One Get One 30-percent off Transformers Toys; select Blendtec Blenders which will have a free $75 gift card with purchase, and a 21-disc box set of Friends: The Complete Series Collection for $149.99 (a $129.99 discount).
At the bottom of their website's page, the company also unveils a slider that previews some of the deals for the next day. Wednesday deals will include WowWee Robots, a Polaroid 10" frame bundle, cocktail party essentials, Crock Pots and LeapReader Bundles.
Target is not the only retailer to unveil deals all week. Several other retailers have extended their Cyber Monday deals, including high-end designers. Some of the extended offers which will expire Tuesday night include:
