Sleepy Hollow's Ichabod Crane is a lonely man out of time looking for familial ties buried under two centuries worth of history.

The reawakened Revolutionary War solider is constantly adapting to modern life, and he does so with little reluctance. Saddled with the task of preventing the impending Apocalypse, Crane swiftly analyzes his present surroundings while longing for a wife he can only see in dreams.

Combine the recent revelation that he had a son with an upcoming memory of his father and you have the perfect combination of mystery and nostalgia that would have any man yearning for his own time period.

In the Dec. 8 episode titled "Gollem," Crane and Abbie (Nicole Beharie) unearth a bit more then they were looking for as the two witnesses search for answers about the son Crane never got to know. According to TV Line , the Sleepy Hollow writers will be rolling out the Gollem as the monster of the week.

The large creature will be busy destroying what appears to be a carnival. From Jewish tradition, the Golem is typically made of inanimate material, such as clay, and serves a master. Where this one came from is anyone's guess.

Meanwhile, Victor Garber will soon visit the show in order to portray Crane's father, according to TV Line. A professor at Oxford, the elder Crane will probably appear in one of the series' many flashbacks.
