The world premiere of Justin Bieber's Believe will take place Wednesday, Dec. 18 at Regal L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles, E! News announced Thursday.

The red carpet event, in which the pop star will attend, takes place just one week before the movie's nationwide release on Christmas Day.

The film is directed by Never Say Never visionary Jon M. Chu. It is an in-depth look at Bieber's life featuring behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the singer, his manager Scooter Braun, mother Pattie Mallette, and superstars like Usher and Ludacris.

Presented by Teen Vogue and sponsored by Clearasil, Bieber is asking premiere-goers to bring a new, unwrapped toy for Radio Disney and ABC7 Spark of Love's holiday toy drive.

Preview footage for Believe featured the 19-year-old opening up about the downsides of fame as well as the best advice he has received from Hollywood veterans, like his mentor Usher and Rodney Jerkins

In a separate teaser clip, Bieber jokingly imitated Braun by growling and getting in his face. Braun then jumped in and volunteered to do a Bieber impression. He started by pretending he was yelling at someone and said, "But why would you do that? You're not understanding! You need to hear what I'm saying."

"What are you doing?" Braun asks in character, mimicking the singer's mannerisms and intonation. "But why would you do that? You're not understanding! You need to hear what I'm saying. Let me finish! No, let me talk because I'm a man now!"
