Hugh Jackman Reveals Skin Cancer Scare, Details

Days of Future Past reunites Hugh Jackman with his costars from the original X-Men trilogy, including Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen and Halle Berry. They join the ensemble of 2011's prequel X-Men: First Class, in which Jackman did a brief cameo. The latter features James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence playing younger versions of X-Men characters.

While some fans might be weary of the union of all the characters, Jackman feels otherwise.

"I think some people are saying, 'Ah, this just sounds like an excuse to get all these actors together and make an Avengers-style movie,' but the truth is that it's a great script and Bryan is very ambitious to make the best movie of them all," he said. "He's a fan of time-travel movies, and the detail that's gone into it is incredible. I'm quietly confident that it will be the biggest and the best of them all."

X-Men: Days of Future Past releases in theaters on May 23, 2014. In the upcoming film, Wolverine is forced to go to a previous era in hopes of altering a major historical event, one that has the potential to negatively impact both humans and mutants.
