Christian's (Andrew Turner) intentions for visiting his mother Hayley (Julie Hesmondhaigh) may not be as honest as they seem at first on Coronation Street.

He reportedly tells his mother he wants her to meet his wife and children, which propels his sudden interest in seeing his terminally ill mother. However, his motives aren't so genuine after all. This is revealed when he asks her for £5,000.

Peter (Chris Gascoyne) will try talking to Tina (Michelle Keegan) in the back of the Rovers Return Inn, but will be interrupted by his new wife Carla (Alison King). Before his wedding, Peter''s budding romance with Tina came to a major climax when he kissed her just before walking down the aisle.

Meanwhile, Audrey (Sue Nicholls) hesitantly agrees to allow her grandson David (Jack P. Sheperd) to work at the salon again, provided he keeps a low profile. This could prove difficult for the young man, who has constantly schemed to destroy the lives around him and is known for his outlandish behaviors.

His job may be the beginning of him rebuilding his life, which has gone off the rails recently. He has not only alienated the few friends he had left in town but has technically been homeless since Kylie (Paula Lane) and Gail (Helen Worth) kicked him out.

Tim (Joe Duttine) and Sally (Sally Dynevor) will also take a huge step in their relationship when the two move in together.

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays and occasional Sundays at 7:30 p.m. on ITV
