Jennifer Lawrence has revealed more of her down-to-earth sensibilities in a recent interview, confessing her love of reality television, her preference for beer over champagne, and her desire to purchase a new house and not shoot movies for a while.

USA Today. writer Donna Freydkin sat down with the 23-year-old Hunger Games: Catching Fire star to talk about her movies, and learned more about the star than she initially planned.

Lawrence initially surprised Freydkin when she expressed disappointment over the beer selection that was available during their chat in her hotel room, which included artisinal brews, but not Coronas or Amstel Lights.

"I'm a Budweiser person," Lawrence told Freydkin. "So I don't really understand."

She also revealed during the interview that she likes to unwind by watching reality television shows, namely Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and that she keeps her Best Actress Oscar statuette for Silver Linings Playbook at her mother's house to keep her friends from treating her differently now that she is an A-list star.

The Oscar winner shocked Freydkin even more by professing a desire to remain out of the spotlight for a while.

"I've built my career. I need to build my human life," Lawrence said. "I need to get a house and connect to the people around me and not work for a little while."

Lawrence's most recent film, Catching Fire, was released nationwide on Nov.22 to record-breaking audience numbers.

She can be seen next in American Hustle, where she plays a sexy Long Island housewife who is married to Christian Bale's con artist character, Irving Rosenfeld.

American Hustle will arrive in theaters Dec. 13.
