A&E released two new teaser trailers for season 2 of Bates Motel on Friday, revealing even more creepiness than ever before.

The first trailer features Norma Bates (Vera Farmiga) cleaning the sheets of a bed. She then discovers a massive blood stain, which she marvels at with a worried look on her face.

The second trailer features Norma's troubled son Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore) working at his taxidermy station. Norman stares at a bird that has seemingly been stuffed, looking upon his work with pride. Watch both trailers here.

Both trailers indicate a continued focus on the show's horror premise. Season 1 of Bates Motel ended with the death of Norman's teacher Miss Watson, with all signs pointing to Norman as the culprit.

Bates Motel Season 2: Basement from Psycho Becomes Norman's Taxidermy Station

Bates Motel season 2 will introduce several new characters, including Norma's brother Caleb (Kenny Johnson). Norma revealed details about her incest past with Caleb in the season 1 finale.

"He has his version and she has her version," Johnson explained in October to Entertainment Weekly. "Obviously in an episode last season, she says [her] brother used to rape [her] in high school, so that's all her son knows. But what is the real story and what's the background, nobody is really going to know."

Another new character set to make a big impact on the show next season is George (Michael Vartan) a new love interest for Norma. George is a recent divorcee who develops an intense connection with Norma.
