One of the stars of The Shahs of Sunset may be appearing on Dancing With the Stars in season 18.
Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi posted a photo on Instagram recently featuring her dancing with Dancing With the Stars pro dancer Cheryl Burke. Along with the photo, Gharachedaghi included the caption, "Practicing my moves with @cherylburke for Dancing With The Stars! I'm not quite sure what I'm doing here but it's better than my twerking!"
Though the comment may be a joke, many of her fans were excited by the news. Burke herself responded on Twitter, saying, "You definitely got some moves girl." Gharachedaghi's boyfriend Dennis DeSantis even commented, saying, "Please don't embarrass us babe on national tv with 25 million viewers hahaha."
Many reality stars have appeared on Dancing With the Stars, including Kate Gosselin, Kim Kardashian and most recently Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi.
However, the DWTS producers may be going in another direction in casting celebrities for season 18 in the spring. Enstars previously reported that the producers might be looking to have an "all Oscar winners" cast of actors and actresses for the new season in order to generate more buzz.
At the top of the list for this "all Oscars edition" is allegedly Renee Zellweger, who won an Oscar in 2004 for Cold Mountain. Dancing With the Stars has not officially commented on the rumor.
Dancing With the Stars is expected to return for season 18 in March 2014 on ABC, though the network has not made an official premiere date announcement.
