There will be more interesting human-vampire relations when True Blood premieres its seventh and final season in summer 2014.

Stephen Moyer, who plays Bill Compton on the HBO series, told E!Online recently that humans and vampires would be looking out for each other in the final season.

"Bill and Sam [Sam Trammell] got together and kind of came up with this idea that each human should have their own vampire protecting them, so that's another theme that we will follow throughout the season," Moyer revealed.

Additionally, Anna Paquin (Sookie) said that the bar fight that was about to occur in the season 6 finale will be resolved quickly in season 7.

True Blood showrunner Brian Buckner previously stated that the final season would refocus the show and bring it back to its traditional roots. In particular, the show will return its focus to human-vampire relations.

"Because humans and vampires are being forced together, we're going to be examining that with all of our characters," Buckner told TVLine in August. "Everyone's going to come under the umbrella of that main story. These are complicated relationships now because they're feeding - it's not necessarily sex, but things get confused sometimes, especially in vampires' minds - so you're going to be looking at a number of complicated three-way, four-way relationships."
