The cast of The Avengers: Age of Ultron has grown by one War Machine.

House of Lies' Don Cheadle is returning to Marvel's hallowed, superhero halls to don the War Machine's armor once more when the Avengers assemble for their second installment, according to the USA Today.

Although Colonel James Rhodes/War Machine wasn't present for the Avengers' Battle of New York, the fighting force made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in last summer's Iron Man 3.

With Ultron on the loose, The War Machine's presence could provide a little insight into the creation and/or destruction of the villainous robot considering the creature's background.

"Tony Stark/Iron Man becomes the unwitting creator of Ultron," a casting notice from Feature Film Casting reported earlier this year.

Since Rhodes possesses Stark's old supped up suit and has previously collaborated with the genius-billionaire-philanthropist-playboy, Rhodes may be more helpful on the technical side of matters than the Avengers other new comrades, Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen).

Meanwhile, Iron Man 3 writer Drew Pearce assertion that the last Tony Stark film will merge seamlessly with Age of Ultron.

"We take [Tony Stark's] arc reactor out, but I think we also make a pretty definite statement that he is Iron Man," Pearce said, according to Comic Book Movie. "And although Joss isn't part of the process as such, he saw all the cuts of the movie, so I've got to assume he knows exactly what he wants to do with Tony in [The Avengers: Age of Ultron] and how we've left him is going to help that, not hinder it."

The Avengers: Age of Ultron will hit theaters in 2015.
