It's hard to find a pet-lover who doesn't love the animals they take into their homes, and celebrities are no different. Several constantly post photos of the animals they have taken in on their social media accounts on nearly a daily basis. For some, these pets are like children-additional or otherwise.

Enstars has compiled a list of eight celebrities who have immense love for their pets on social media:

1. Nikki Reed: The Twilight actress who is married to American Idol finalist Paul McDonald has two adorable pups at home: Enzo and Ira. She often posts about them and her general support for animal rights on her Instagram page.

2. Lena Dunham: The Girls star who won a Golden Globe for her role on the show adopted Lamby a week before her wins. In her most recent pic of the pup, she wrote: "Sometimes when you're avoiding writing, you just gotta re-stage American Gothic with your dog and a candle snuffer."

3. Lisa Vanderpump: The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has identified as "dog crazy"  and "not normal" before, and even brought her Pomeranian Giggy with her for her turn on Dancing with the Stars back in April 2013. Giggy even has his own agent. She also has three other canine cuties in her brood: Lollipop, Pikachu and Buki.

4. Lea Michele: The Glee actress had previously adopted two cats named Claude and Sheila after finding them at the Paramount studio lot where her hit show is filmed. In October 2013, just three months after the tragic loss of her boyfriend and co-star Cory Monteith, the actress posted photos on her twitter account of another new addition to her little animal family: Pearl, an 8-year-old Pomeranian.

5. Miley Cyrus: The Bangerz singer and controversial performer has several pups:  Floyd, Happy, Mary Jane, Penny Lane and Bean. Touring is hard on the singer, who tweeted Dec. 9 "I don't wanna leave my babies :( "

6. Britney Spears: The bond between the Perfume singer and her adorable pooch Hannah is so strong that Hannah even "created' a Mother's Day card for Spears.

7. Amanda Seyfried: Despite a still blossoming relationship with actor Justin Long, the Mean Girls actress still puts her pup, Finn, before all else. The pooch even went with her on a recent trip to Massachusetts. "#ColdPawsWarmHeart #Massachusetts" she tweeted alongside a photo of her pup on Nov. 30.

8. Taylor Swift: Swift's cat Meredith is practically her best friend, if her Twitter posts about the feline are accurate. "I'm thankful for friendships like this," she tweeted last year.
