America's voters dubbed Tessanne Chin the winner of The Voice season 5 on Tuesday night.

After seven weeks of live performances and 27 episodes worth of competition, Chin beat out 19 other hopefuls to reach the finish line of the NBC talent search. A member of Team Adam Levine, Chin was joined in the Top 3 by teammate Will Champlin and Team Christina Aguiera's Jacquie Lee.

As soon as the Jamaican native received her trophy, it was time to hop back on stage once more and sing the newly penned winner's song, Tumbling Down, by Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic.

Already a well-established singer in her home country, the 28-year-old will now have the chance to make a name for herself in America. Following the conclusion of The Voice, Chin will link back up with Tedder, and adviser on show, to start work on her new music.

Chin's final performances on Monday night helped to propel her into the lead and consisted of an encore version of Try by Pink, a duet with Lambert to the Beatles' Let It Be, and a solo rendition of I Have Nothing by Whitney Houston.

During the finale, Chin had the chance to add her vocals to Celine Dion's performance of Love Can Move Mountains, which you can view here.
