While Tina (Michelle Keegan) tries to get over her heartbreak about Peter (Chris Gascoyne), she makes a move that could prove to be dangerous for her on Coronation Street.

When confronting Peter about their kiss before his wedding to Carla (Alison King) doesn't work out in her favor, Tina focuses her sights on Carla's brother Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis), but also the boyfriend of Tina's enemy, Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford). Tracy happens to also be Peter's sister.

The drama could prove to be catastrophic when Carla catches her brother kissing Tina in the backyard of the Rovers Return. While she promises him she won't tell Tracy, she doesn't make any such promise about not telling her new husband. How Peter will react could be extremely telling: he can either focus on the outrage that his sister's boyfriend has cheated on her, or he can focus on the fact that Tina could be getting over him.

Brian (Peter Gunn) will be saying his goodbyes during this new episode. He leaves the cobbles and Julie (Katy Cavanagh) behind for a job in Wales.

New photos have also emerged from filming the show's sketch for the Text Santa charity appeal, which will air on Friday, Dec. 20. Singer Cheryl Cole will be making a guest appearance in the fictional town of Weatherfield as she seeks out her old friend Tina to come with her to her mother's Christmas party.

Keegan opened up to Radio Times recently to share what it was like to work with Cole.

"I was really excited when I found out that Cheryl Cole was going to be filming at Corrie. She is someone I really admire and I have never met properly. So when I found out she was going to play Tina's friend I couldn't believe it," she said. "I sat and chatted with her for ages, which was lovely. She didn't need any tips from us all though-she was really good, a natural."

Cole also spoke about her time filming on the soap's set, saying, "Coronation Street has always been a part of my life, we'd all watch it as kids every night. It's surreal to be part of something I've watched my whole life. It's great to be able to support sic wonderful charities and I really hope that this year's appeal makes a difference to many lives."

The newest episode of Coronation Street airs Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 7:30 p.m. on ITV.
