Kris Jenner has broken her silence about daughter Khloe Kardashian's impending divorce from NBA star Lamar Odom.

"Khloe really is so great," Jenner said to E! News. "She's strong...the good news is that she's busy and you know, keeps her real busy. But she's good."

Kardashian, 29, filed for divorce from Odom, 34, on Dec. 13 after four years of marriage. She cited "irreconcilable differences."

Rumors had been swirling for much of the past year about the state of the couple's marriage after Odom was arrested for DUI, and suffered allegations of drug use and cheating.

Jenner assures fans that Kardashian is handling her divorce like a pro.

"I think that when you have a tough decision to make and you finally make it, it's always a relief to come through that process, but it is a process. So we'll see," she said. "She's got such a big heart but she also is very sensitive. She's got that tougher exterior and sensitive inside, but she's good. She's got all of us around her and I'll see her later, and yeah, she's good."

Kardashian is not the only member of her famous family to announce the end to her marriage in recent years. Older sister Kim Kardashian, 33, filed for divorce from her own NBA star husband, Kris Humphries, after just 72 days of marriage back in 2011. She previously divorced record producer Damon Thomas beck in 2004 after a four-year union.

Jenner announced her separation from husband Bruce Jenner in October after 22 years of marriage. No plans for divorce have been announced at time of publication.
