While the exact events that occur during the upcoming season of Amish Mafia have yet to be revealed, new spoilers have emerged hinting that season 3 could be the hit show's last.

In an interview posted on the Discovery Channel website, Producer Matt Kelly shared insights into season 3 of the show while promoting the Dec. 10 Christmas Special.

He suggested that tension between the show's cast and crew may bring the reality series to an end.

"To be honest I don't know what's going to happen at the end of the season, because it's kind of starting to turn against the production crew a little bit. So we'll see how that plays out," Kelly said.

Kelly previously hinted that Levi could be getting more anti-English as well. He also revealed that the Ohio gang will be facing their own troubles.

"There's become a little bit of Levi drawing a line in the sand and basically saying it's us versus them, Amish versus English, which is something that you'll hear and see repeated throughout the season," he said. "There's a real turning inward by Levi."

"Ohio is blowing up. Wayne, his leadership in Ohio is in jeopardy. Merlin is still on his search for spiritual purity and power at the same time. And that only intensifies," he added.

Kelly then talked about Caleb's future on the show.

"We don't know [what happened to Caleb]. Levi's pretty tight-lipped about what happened in the barn at the end of last season," he said. "I will say though that the production crew has spotted him in and around the Lancaster area, so my guess is he's going to be popping up in this season."

Amish Mafia returns to the Discovery Channel in early 2014. No exact premiere date has been set for season 3.
