The new Apple iPhone 6 might be hitting stores as soon as May 2014, according to tech experts.

Apple is planning on releasing a larger-sized iPhone than the current iPhone 5s, and scheduling a release for May 2014, according to a new report by Digitimes. The new iPhone would be using a 20nm processor that will be manufactured by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), according to sources close to production.

As Yahoo notes, it would be surprising if Apple chooses to release a new iPhone so fast after the latest model. The iPhone 5s was released to the public in Sept. 2013.

News of another iPhone approaching comes a day after Apple's agreement with China Mobile. Forbes notes that there may be increased pressure (from China and other markets) to produce newer, expensive phones to make the iPhone 5c seem more affordable and attractive to consumers.

The new tablet will be manufactured by Quanta Computer, with original predictions expecting either a 12.9- or 13.3-inch panel. Sources are allegedly suggesting that the 12.9-inch model is most likely going to be the desired size.
