The Miami Heat NBA team will be facing off against the Los Angeles Lakers at 5:00 p.m. ET.

Miami (21-6) will be visiting Los Angeles (13-15) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif. The Heat are first in the Southeast division of the NBA with a percentage of .778 while the Lakers are fourth in the Pacific division with a .464 percentage.

The Miami Heat are statistically favored to win Wednesday's Christmas Day game, having won their past five games while the Los Angeles Lakers have lost their past two games.

Miami Heat star player Lebron James recently had a few choice words for the NBA's pushing of sleeved jerseys.

"I can't have my shooters out there worrying about some sleeves and not shooting the ball," James said this week.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young is openly hoping that the new jerseys prevent the team from performing efficiently.

"We're going to see," Young told ESPN. "I hope his shooters is messing up. I hope Ray Allen ain't making shots. Right? So, I hope (LeBron James) is worried."

Though many had been anticipating a game of James vs. the Lakers' Kobe Bryant, the latter will be sitting out until January after suffering a knee fracture in late December.

The Miami Heat have won seven of their last ten games while the Los Angeles Lakers have won four of their last ten.
