Though Ridge's (Thorsten Kaye) return could mean great things for Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) on The Bold and the Beautiful, it could mean tension between him and younger brother Rick (Jacob Young) when he returns to work at Forrester Creations.

In a preview clip for the Thursday, Dec. 26 episode, the brothers will face-off against one another over business decisions when Ridge tries to make changes to how Rick has been running things.

"My wife is our lead designer and dad has put his faith and his trust in me to lead this company," Rick said to Ridge in the clip.

Meanwhile, Brooke might be trying to truly re-start her relationship with Ridge now that he's back by getting Bill (Don Diamont) to leave her alone.

"Don't send any more texts, no videos, nothing," she said to him.

In Hawaii, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) is trying to help Hope (Kim Matula) heal after her yet-again aborted wedding to Liam (Scott Clifton). He said to her, "You've spent enough time waiting for Liam to come through. Now it's time to move on."

Hope walked out on her wedding right before the ceremony was scheduled to start after she saw Liam with his ex-wife, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Steffy came to the wedding to tell Liam her good news about being able to have children after Quinn (Rena Sofer) encouraged her to do so.

While Steffy was talking to Liam, Quinn snuck into Hope's room and left her a note that was supposedly from Liam, asking her to come see him before the wedding. When Hope arrived at the cabin, she saw Liam talking to his ex-wife.

Quinn set up the encounter after Liam gave Hope an ultimatum that she had to fire Quinn and Wyatt from Forrester. Since the wedding was called off, the partnership was reinstated.

"I take it personally when someone interferes with my business life or my son's happiness," she said to Eric (John McCook).

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
