FX's Cold War spy drama The Americans officially has a season 2 premiere date.

Season 2 of The Americans premieres on Feb. 26 at 10 p.m. on FX, according to the network. The spy drama, set in the 1980s, stars Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys as a Russian couple in an arranged marriage who are tasked with spying on the American government during the Cold War.

Season 1 of The Americans was a critical success, winning the Television Critics Association Award for Best New Show. The show was also listed on AFI's Top 10 Shows of 2013.

Very little is known about the plot of The Americans season 2, though a new photo of Rhys as Philip Jennings was released via TV Guide. The photo shows Philip in one of his trademark wigs and wearing a pair of sunglasses. According to TV Guide, Philip is going undercover in Texas in the new season.

"I had the boots and the hat," Rhys told the publication. "I hope they bring him back - although the other day I heard my accent [on screen] and went, 'Holy s--t! In my head I sounded like a Texan."

Guest star Margo Martindale made a big impact in season 1, though she is now starring in the CBS sitcom The Millers. Fans of Martindale's portrayal of Claudia, the KGB supervisor, will be happy to learn that she will be in at least one episode of season 2.

The Americans season 2 premieres Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 10 p.m. on FX.
