April Kepner will find a new best friend in Arizona Robbins to replace Jackson Avery when season 10 of Grey's Anatomy resumes in February, actress Sarah Drew told Spreecast.

Chatting about Grey's Anatomy spoilers earlier in December, Drew said as Arizona and April spend more time together, they will grow closer.

"I think that we're gonna have more and more stuff together. Everybody got really excited about the April and Arizona friendship, and I did too," she said. "It's funny, because once we had those scenes in the closet, we were kind of like, 'well, obviously they should be friends. Why has this not happened yet?' So it was really, really fun for them to kind of find each other."

Fans saw their friendship blossoming in the season 10 episode Putting on the Ritz, where they share a bottle of wine and get really drunk in one of the hospital's supply closets as it holds a grand fundraising party.

Drew also mentioned April and Jackson's relationship.

"April hasn't really had a best friend outside of Jackson throughout her time on the show, so it's really fun to find another kindred spirit," Drew added. "So yeah, we'll definitely see more of that. That's coming."

In the mid-season finale of the ABC medical Drama, Jackson had a sudden impulse to stop April's wedding to Matthew and profess his love for her.

"April, I love you, I always have. I love everything about you. Even the things I don't like, I love. And I want you with me. I love you, and I think that you love me, too. Do you?"

The declaration came after Jackson and Stephanie shared a moment in the OR when he told her a valuable lesson the late Mark Sloan taught him: "If you love somebody, you tell them, even if you're scared it will cause problems or burn your life to the ground. Say it loud and go from there."

Actor Jesse Williams talked about his character's impulsive act and how it will unfold in the storyline for the second half of season 10. He hinted that Jackson may soon doubt his actions at the wedding.

Grey's Anatomy returns for the second half of season 10 on Thursday, Feb. 27 on ABC.
