While Bill (Don Diamont) may be successful in winning back the woman he loves, his son Liam (Scott Clifton) may have to finally say goodbye to Hope (Kim Matula) for the last time on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) refused to take Bill back after she learned of his schemes against her sister Katie (Heather Tom), despite Bill's persistent efforts to win her back. The return of her true love Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) seemed promising for her until she came clean to him about her affair with Katie's husband, causing Ridge to storm out. Now, Bill appears ready to swoop back in and win Brooke back when she's at her lowest point.

"I'm right here, and I'm pretty sure you like it that way," he said to her in a preview clip for the Tuesday, Dec. 31 episode.

If Brooke does in fact take Bill back again, it could not only upset Ridge further, but could also damage any inroads she has made at repairing her relationship with Katie as well.

Meanwhile, in Hawaii, Liam is unsuccessfully convincing Hope to come back to Los Angeles with him. She fled from the city with Wyatt (Darin Brooks) after catching Liam with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) on her wedding day, but Liam followed behind soon after.

"You keep telling me that you love me and that you want to marry me, so it seems pretty straight-forward," Liam said to her in the preview clip.

However, his words seem to be unsuccessful, and it appears that the couple has decided that several interrupted attempts at walking down the aisle together is too much to take, and have decided to officially end any and all attempts at being together.
