An emotional love letter apparently written by Brad Pitt to Angelina Jolie surfaced online and it went viral.

However, the touching letter wasn't written by Pitt. It's just another internet hoax.

The letter was said to have been written by Pitt in June after his fiancee had undergone a preventative double mastectomy in February.

"My wife got sick. She was constantly nervous because of problems at work, personal life, her failures and problems with children," the note reads.

"She has lost 30 pounds and weighed about 90 pounds in her 35 years. She got very skinny, and was constantly crying. She was not a happy woman. She had suffered from continuing headaches, heart pain and jammed nerves in her back and ribs."

The letter goes on to say that the actor thought he and Jolie would "get divorced soon." (The couple isn't even married yet and have been engaged since 2012.)

In order to salvage the relationship, Pitt allegedly "began to pamper her with flowers, kisses and compliments. I surprised her and pleased her every minute. I gave her lots of gifts and lived just for her. I spoke in public only about her. I incorporated all themes in her direction. I praised her in front of her own and our mutual friends."

According to Snopes.com, the letter has been circulating for years and has only recently been attributed to Pitt. A rep for the actor also confirmed with the website that Pitt "had nothing to dow with it."
