Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson may be the latest actor signing onto a superhero franchise.

Johnson tweeted a cryptic tease of a message on Tuesday, revealing that he recently had a meeting with the Warner Bros. CEO.

"We just had a big meeting w/ Warner Bros CEO re: @DCComics 2014 we will partner up and create the cool bad assery. #RockTalk @ActionTilson," Johnson tweeted.

Presuming Johnson is referring to a future film based on a DC Comics concept, he might be in talks to be in Man of Steel 2, a.k.a. Batman vs. Superman, the highly anticipated sequel to 2013's Man of Steel.

Warner Bros. and D.C. Comics have no other films officially announced besides Man of Steel 2. Warner Bros. has not revealed who will be playing the villain role(s) in Man of Steel 2, so Johnson could be lining up to participate in the sequel as one of Superman's enemies.

Joaquin Phoenix Playing Batman vs. Superman Villain?

The most logical villain Johnson could play seems to be Doomsday, the bulky monster with superhuman strength who famously defeated Superman in the 1992 comic "The Death of Superman."

It was previously rumored that Doomsday would be in Man of Steel 2, based on speculation by The Hollywood Reporter. The report claimed that Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones) was one of the frontrunners to play a significant character in Man of Steel 2. Johnson and Momoa are similar in size.
