Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart: Separated By The Atlantic For New Year's, No Rendezvous For Former Couple

Robert Pattinson spent the holidays abroad but without the companionship of his former costar, Kristen Stewart.

The Twilight heartthrobs have had a rough year romantically, their complicated relationship constantly leaving fans puzzled. What is clear, however, is that the British actor did not ring in the New Year with Stewart.

Despite rampant rumors that the couple would be reuniting for a Dec. 31 rendezvous on the Isle of Wight, Pattinson and Stewart spent the holiday on separate sides of the Atlantic.

A native of London, the 27-year-old actor reportedly headed home for the holidays in early December, according to Entertainmentwise. In the days leading up to the conclusion of 2013, Pattinson could be seen enjoying his time off as he hit up the London clubs with several friends.

"It was lovely of Robert Pattinson to join us last night for some pre-NYE fun! We had some very happily ladies in the club," tweeted Embargo 59, a Chelsea club that played host to the Queen of the Desert star on Tuesday night.

In the meantime, Stewart could be seen traversing her Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles with a new canine pal. Named Bailey, the young dog became a part of the actress' life after she adopted it in November, according to Hollywood Life.

Pattinson can be seen next in Maps to the Stars and Stewart will feature in Camp X-Ray.
