Sisters Tia and Tamera Mowry will not be renewing their reality TV series, they announced Tuesday.

The former Sister Sister stars are leaving their reality series Tia & Tamera, to focus on their private lives.

Tamera Mowry-Housley posted the news on Twitter, writing, "Wanted to say Thank You for all the love and support. But most of all welcoming me, my husband, n my son into your homes for 3 seasons." She later tweeted, "We are truly blessed:) More than anything I wanted you all to see who I was TRULY as a person and the show Tia and Tamera has done that."

"Yes, Tia and I will not have a season 4. Thank you for always supporting us throughout the years," she added. "Tia n I decided it was time 2 live r family lives behind the cameras:) U can still look forward 2 Tia's Instant Mom n my talk show the real."

Tia & Tamera started in 2011. The series followed the lives of the sisters as they balanced their careers, being parents and learning about marriage.

Even though the show won't be on television anymore, the twins are still continuing their acting careers. Tia Mowry-Hardrict is currently starring in the Nick at Nite sitcom series Instant Mom, where she plays a party girl who marries an older man with three children. Mowry-Housley is a panelist on the daytime talk show The Real, which debuted in July 2013 and has been picked up for two seasons by the FOX network.
