After she apologized for sampling audio from the Challenger shuttle disaster in her song XO, Beyonce has found herself in the midst of some more controversy.

On Monday, the pop star posted a photo of herself on Instagram posed in front of a mural of Leonardo DaVinci's famous religious painting The Last Supper, which depicts the last meal Jesus shared with his Apostles before his crucifixion.

In the photo, the singer is posed on the counter of Miami's Jugofresh juice bar, which features an Andy Warhol mural of The Last Supper. Beyonce is positioned in the middle of the painting where Jesus should be seen sitting.

The photo enraged some of her fans who took to social media to express their thoughts.

"@beyonce as much as we support your success by being a fellow Texan... its sad to say I have lost ALL RESPECT for you! This Is very unacceptable and you know you were raised in a church!" wrote one under the Instagram photo.

"I'm guessing you guys think it's okay for Beyonce to post that Last Supper picture on IG? Straight blasphemy," tweeted another.

The photo comes after Beyonce was forced to explain why she sampled a recording from the 1986 Challenger disaster in her new song.

"Flight controllers here looking very carefully at the situation. Obviously a major malfunction," former NASA public affairs officer Steve Nesbitt is heard saying in the first few seconds of XO.

Many NASA astronauts and their families deemed Beyonce's actions "insensitive" to the incident, which killed all seven astronauts aboard. Beyonce, however, offered her reasoning in a statement to ABC News.

"My heart goes out to the families of those lost in the Challenger disaster," she said. "The song XO was recorded with the sincerest intention to help heal those who have lost loved ones and to remind us that unexpected things happen, so love and appreciate every minute that you have with those who mean the most to you."
