Dancing With the Stars pro dancer Derek Hough is extending his success to a new self-help book.

Hough is releasing his first book, titled Taking the Lead: Lessons from a Life in Motion on May 27. Amazon is now taking pre-orders on the nonfiction book in both hardcover and Kindle editions.

The 28-year-old Hough has already accomplished a great deal in his life. He is currently the most successful pro partner in Dancing With the Stars, having won the show five times out of his 12 seasons of participation. Hough has won the dancing competition with Brooke Burke, Nicole Scherzinger, Jennifer Grey, Kellie Pickler and, most recently, Amber Riley. He has never placed below sixth in any of his 12 seasons.

Hough also won an Emmy in 2013 for Outstanding Choreography for select routines in seasons 15 and 16. He has been nominated five times at the Emmys for his choreography on Dancing With the Stars.

Taking the Lead: Lessons from a Life in Motion is scheduled for release in stores on May 27.
