Former couple Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber reunited to ride Segways together in the Boyfriend singer's Calabasas, Calif. neighborhood on Thursday, Jan. 2.

Along with another friend, the exes spent time with one another nearly a year after their public romance ended. Gomez, 21, and Bieber, 19, were first photographed by a fan, who shared photos of them along with many details of his encounter via social media.

"Bieber and Selena segwaying in the Oaks. She was so nice, so he yelled at us," Twitter user Nick Santisky wrote.

"Shoutout to @justinbieber for holding up all the traffic in the Oaks. Grow up...Thanks to @justinbieber told us to f--- off, and his bodyguards blocked the road, so hello to my new followers! Gotta admit, I was kinda starstruck by @selenagomez but @justinbieber ruined the moment," he continued.

Santisky's friend, Max Sonnenberg, appeared to be with him during the celebrity spotting. He tweeted, "Bieber and Selena cussed me out while riding segways in the middle of the street because we couldn't drive around his security detail

Bieber still has feelings for the Come & Get It singer, he admitted in a Dec. 18 radio interview with Los Angeles hip-hip radio station Power 106. At the time he said the two were not on speaking terms at the moment, which clearly has changed based on their recent outing.

"All That Matters was written when I was in a great place in my relationship, and at that time, she was all that mattered in my life," he told radio jockey Big Boy. "I wrote the best music once my heart was broken. I was definitely in love."

"[The break up] affected us, especially when we are in front of so many people," he added. "It's such a public thing. It's just hard for the both of us. But you know, she's a great woman. I love her till this day. I think we're going to be the greatest of friends. Right now we're taking a little time and not talking."
