Oscar-winner Kate Winslet opened up about her children, social media and Miley Cyrus' wild behavior in a new interview.

When speaking with the U.K. edition of Psychologies magazine, Winslet reportedly revealed that she's a bit worried for the younger generation, including the We Can't Stop singer.

"You hear horror stories when you think, 'God, who's looking after these people and why does it seem like they're losing their way?'" Winslet said.

"I mean, you think about someone like Miley Cyrus, and I said to my daughter the other day, 'I'm this close to opening my mouth about what's going on with that girl.' Who is actually saying, 'Stop for a second, what do you want, who are you?'"

The Titanic star noted her own high self-esteem and said she wants the same for her three children - Mia Honey Threapleton, Joe Alfie Winslet Mendes and newborn Bear Winslet.

"I've just been very lucky that I've always been comfortable with who I am," Winslet said. "Sometimes people ask, 'What do you wish for your children?' and all I say is, 'I want them to be happy being them.'"

The actress, who stars in the upcoming films Labor Day and Divergent, also revealed her concern with social media and her belief that it creates a damper on the younger generation.

"We live in a world where we have to be aware of all this stuff, unfortunately," the actress said. "And it's feeding this young generation in a way that's beyond terrifying so normal friendships aren't even normal friendships anymore because, half the time, they seem to be forging relationships with people they've never met."
