The Wolf of Wall Street can at least claim one 'f---ing' accomplishment as it heads into awards season, as the film as broken the all-time record for dropping the largest number of f-bombs.

Wolf managed to use the word 506 times, The Daily News reported, breaking the record previously held by Spike Lee's 1999 hit, Summer of Sam, which used the word 435 times.

The film's director, Martin Scorsese holds several places on the list of films using the word in large quantities. His other films to crack the top 10 include 1995's Casino and 1990's Goodfellas, which used the word 422 and 300 times respectively.

While the language is one aspect that shocks audiences about the movie, star Leonardo DiCaprio doesn't have too much of a problem with it, or the drug abuse and sexual debauchery that were also featured on-screen, explaining in a Dec. 30 interview with Variety that the film tries to indict the behavior by showcasing it.

"This film may be misunderstood by some. I hope people understand we're not condoning this behavior, that we're indicting it," he said. "The book was a cautionary tale and if you sit through the end of the film, you'll realize what we're saying about these people and this world, because it's an intoxicating one."

DiCaprio is currently vacationing in Mexico with model girlfriend Toni Garn. He is currently up for a Best Actor Gilden Globe for his role in the film.
