Netflix has given its users a nice gift to ring in the New Year.

The online streaming and DVD rental company, which according to its website provides over 40 million members in more than 40 countries with more than one billion hours of TV shows and movies per month, has unveiled 26 new films that were previously unavailable on the site.

The company wound up removing more than 80 titles from their service when they expired on Jan. 1. Some of the titles that are no longer available include cult classics and Oscar-winning fare, such as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Do the Right Thing, Can't Hardly Wait, Being John Malkovich, Titanic, Braveheart, Requiem for a Dream, Top Gun, Capote, Flash Dance and 50 First Dates. (For a full list of films no longer available on the site, click here).

However, to make up for the massive cut, the company has made a number of other big name films available for the first time. New choices include films directed by the likes of Martin Scorsese, Ridley Scott and Mel Brooks, while more classic comedies are also available.

A Reddit user who goes by the name of Cinemaphreak also posted a list of additional movies and TV shows now available, claiming that at least 66 new titles are actually available, 40 more titles than have been previously reported.

The additional new flicks include The Amityville Horror, The Brady Bunch Movie, Catch-22, Mommie Dearest, Rock 'n' Roll High School, and Saved!
