Francesca Eastwood, the 18-year-old daughter of Clint Eastwood said the $100,000 bag she burnt for a photo shoot wasn't hers.

Eastwood and her boyfriend photographer Tyler Shields burnt a red crocodile Hermes Birkin handbag to produce a series of artworks.

She said she did it in the "name of art."

But the photographs have caused outrage on the web and the couple even faced death threats from around the world, according to Grazia Daily UK.

“Go and work for a living and see if you burn a 100k bag. Hell you wouldnt even be burning a 50 dollar bag. That is NOT art losers,” posted one user on Shields’ website.

TMZ.com posted a video of the couple talking about the infamous incident.

"It was a real bag," Eastwood told TMZ.

But Shields jumped in to claim it was all his idea.

"It was my bag. I paid for it, it was all me," he said.

When asked how much was the bag:

"The bag was a lot of money. A lot...more than a car," he said smiling.

Outraged internet users said that the money could have gone to someone in need.

A Birkin bag is the most sought after bag in the entire world and there is even a waiting list. Some of them can run upwards of $100,000.

Shields put the photograph for sale on his website. He said if someone buys it he will donate $100,000 to a family in need.

"If somebody wants to buy one of the Birkin photos, I will donate $100,000 — not to a charity — but to a family. I will give one family in need $100,000 cash."

This is not the first time Eastwood has burnt expensive things. In January she light up a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes worth $10,000 as part of a shoot.
