Katy Perry John Mayer Married? 'Say' Singer Calls Girlfriend His Wife? [VIDEO]
Katy Perry and John Mayer have no problem gushing over each other in public, but did they have a wedding we don't know about?
According to Life and Style magazine in an article published Friday, when the couple made an appearance on Good Morning America last month, Mayer kept referring to Perry as his wife.
One eyewitness said, "He kept calling Katy his wife. He said things like, 'I just do whatever the wife says,' and then both of them would laugh. It was like looking at an old married couple."
Mayer, who has been romantically linked to other A-listers like Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson seems to see something different in Perry and looks like a man in love.
An insider said, "John just stares at Katy when she isn't looking. He is one smitten dude!"
One source said, "[Mayer is] very serious about proposing to Katy very soon. He's been asking her friends what kind of ring she would like."
Perry sparked rumors that the she and Mayer are engaged when she rocked a diamond band on her ring finger at the 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards in Amsterdam back November, just days after Mayer was spotted shopping for an engagement ring.
Close friends of Perry also say that engagement between the two should be expected.
One friend said, "Everyone wants them to get engaged. They are so perfect together."
Mayer and Perry went public with their relationship in August of 2012. Perry was married to comedian and actor Russell Brand before they got divorced in February 2012.
