ABC Family picked up two new TV shows called Mystery Girls and Young & Hungry.

Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth will be starring in Mystery Girls. The former Beverly Hills 90210 stars will play two actresses who once played detectives on screen and now get wound up in a real-life mystery.

The rest of the plot is unknown at this time, but Danika Yarosh (See Dad Run) and Brec Bassinger (Haunted Hathaways) will also make appearances on the series.

Young & Hungry stars Emily Osment (Hannah Montana) as a food blogger with the hopes of becoming a chef. The series will be executively produced by High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale.

Tisdale tweeted news of her involvement in the project Monday, Jan. 6.

"Can't believe my first pilot I produced just got picked up to series!! #youngandhungry #abcfamily," she wrote.

Osment happened to be in the shower when she heard the news that Young & Hungry was going to get picked up.

"Apparently a lot can happen when you're in the shower," Osment tweeted. "Like your pilot gets picked up & everyone knows but you...because you're in the shower."

ABC Family President Tom Ascheim is excited for the new shows.

"It's great to start the new year and my tenure at ABC Family with the pickup of these two funny original series," he said in a released statement. "ABC Family's comedy lineup continues to resonate with our audience and I'm thrilled to boost that momentum by adding Mystery Girls and Young & Hungry, which are sure to become fan favorites."
