American Horror Story stars Emma Roberts and Evan Peters are engaged, according to Perez Hilton.

Peters reportedly traded in Roberts' promise ring for an official engagement ring with pink and gold diamonds during the holidays. He proposed in New York City and the couple then spent New Year's in London.

Roberts and Peters play Madison Montogomery and Kyle Spencer in American Horror Story. 

The couple started dating in early 2012 and was reportedly involved in a domestic fight in July 2013. Roberts was arrested in Montreal on July 7 after allegedly getting involved in a dispute with Peters. Police found Peters in the couple's hotel room with a bloody nose and one law enforcement source reported seeing a bite mark on the actor.

Roberts was arrested on the spot, but Peters chose not to press charges. She was released just hours after custody.

The couples' reps released a statement on the situation, saying, "It was an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding. Ms. Roberts was released after questioning and the couple are working together to move past it."

Roberts is the niece of Julia Roberts and the daughter of Eric Roberts. Her most recent films include We're the Millers, Scream 4 and Valentine's Day.

Peters' previous films include Kick-Ass, Never Back Down and An American Crime. He will also play Quicksilver in X-Men: Days of Future Past.
