Beyonce and Jay Z's daughter Blue Ivy Carter turned 2 years old today, Jan. 7 and Enstars has complied the cutest photos of the toddler.

Beyonce recently said her daughter was the inspiration behind her latest self-titled visual album, BEYONCE because she wanted to show her fans and the world that mothers are capable of maintaining successful careers.

"Just because you become a mother, it doesn't mean you lose who you are," she says in Part 4 of her "Self Titled" documentary.  "I was breastfeeding with cornrows in my hair because I was spending so much time being a mother. I would take a few hours out of the day to record. In real life, I was this mother trying to get my focus and my dreams and myself back. Recording this album was such an outlet for me to escape and create whatever world and fantasy that was definitely at the time not happening."

Beyonce and Jay Z welcomed Blue Ivy at an NYC hospital on Jan. 7, 2012. At the time the first-time parents said her birth was "emotional and peaceful," adding, "We are in heaven."

Back in February 2012, the Drunk in Love singer revealed to Vogue the emotions that took over her life when she was giving birth to Blue.

"I felt very maternal around eight months, and I thought I couldn't become any more until I saw the baby," Beyonce said. "But it happened during my labor because I had a very strong connection with my child. I felt like when I was having contractions, I envisioned my child pushing through a very heavy door."
